Happy Easter!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter celebration. We had a WONDERFUL brunch at Tom & Peggy's and Allyson got to play with her cousins. We are now at home getting ready for the work week. Here are a few photos from the day.

Spring finally

Well we finally got a few days of spring around here. The weekend was so WONDERFUL! We spent our weekend mostly out at the river cabin. We had a family photo session at Mr. C's, which I think they turned out GREAT! I cannot wait to see them! Allyson didn't really care for the photographer, just because he was a he, so she tends to be stand offish around men. But he managed to get so great smiles out of her. On Sunday we had friends over for dinner at the cabin and it turned out just PERFECT! We soaked up every last minute of sunshine. Usually on Sundays everyone want to pack it in right after dinner, but that night we all took a walk just after sunset along the river what a wonderful day!

I am feeling so sick today! I got hit with a cold yesterday, thought is was a bit of over exertion, because I walked/jogged with Allyson 4 miles yesterday up at our house, which is very hilly in the middle of the day! But today I still feel yucky! So this better go away fast, I need to keep on my training schedule!!!

This is a wreath that I made for my Bunco group. I am having Bunco at my house this month and thought I would make the prizes. I love how this turned out. The lettering I did with my cricut! Using the vinyl. I made the little bee I thought he was a cute little touch!

This layout is of Allybug and my ADORABLE SWEET niece Ms. Amanda! This was taken at a wedding last september. These colors are a big departure from my norm! I also used my cricut to make this page! Can't go wrong with such CUTE models!!Well that is it for now. I must go nurse this stinkin cold!

Let see Allyson fell asleep early today, we went up to Lacey and went shopping at Cabela's and Costco, let's just say we now have to eat Top Ramen all week to make up for how much we spent!!!! I am going to get up to my scraproom while I can and get creating! I have a few more shares, just need to finish them up. On a side note, we had mixed Rain and SNOW ALL DAY TODAY!!!! What is going on!!! Beth I am hitching a ride in your suitcase!!! Next Tuesday!

Happy Monday

So another weekend come and gone! NEVER lasts long enough. We didn't do much of anything. Larry worked on the cabin, getting it re-leveled from when he tried to pull it back from the river banks during the last high waters. We picked out skirting for it, so that is first on the Spring "To Do List". I am posting a layout and have some cards to post once they reach the intended parties. Happy Birthday to Brother-In-Law Bryan, Sissy Tyneal and Sister-In-Law Bethie!

Next I thought I would post some photo's of my scraproom. The Desk and Cubbies are made by my dear husband! I still need to paint a couple doors and a bracket that will hold my under the Cubby lights - but I just LOVE it, I can now use my Sewing Machine in my scraproom and actually sit at my table and not on the floor!!

Didn't he do a great job! I really am so happy with how it turned out!

Where has time gone!

So it has been over a MONTH since my last post!!! Wow, what a complete slacker I have been. So brace yourself as I get you all caught up!

Not to much exciting here, just really the usual, except for the fact that we have gotten WAY more snow this year than is necessary. I have SPRING FEVER so bad!! I usually can take the rain, without much complaint, but this year we have been so COLD, that I just want to warm my toes in the sunshine! Larry celebrated his 39th Birthday in March. We had friends up for a nice dinner (which he ended up cooking?!) that was the 7th of March and that evening our friends were worried they would not be able to make it down, because it was SNOWING A BLIZZARD!!! Needless to say it finally stopped and they made it home safely!

The first photo that I am posting is from the Valentine's Day Ball that Larry and I go. It is sponsored by NECA (National Electrical Contractor's Association) we usually go with Tom and Peg (which we did this year). It is held in this amazing Hotel in Portland, The Governor's Hotel. They start the evening off with cocktails and wonderful appetizers, then it is off to the Grand Ball Room for a 3 course meal, which is always amazing! They have a live band for dancing, just a wonderful evening! This year I decided to get really dressed up. I really do not like the photo of myself, but doesn't Larry look handsome!

I have done a few scrappy things. I have made a few Birthday cards and forgot to take a photo of them! But have a one page layout to share and the first few pages to a mini album that I am almost done with.

So hopefully you are still with me at this point! My camera went dead on me so I could not finish taking photo's of the little mini book, will post the rest once I get my hands on more batteries.

I got myself a new game for the Wii - Dance Dance Revolution Dance Party 2. Which I am instantly addicted to. I was trying to play it today and Allyson thought she needed to play as well! It was so cute, she has no clue how it works, but she LOVES to dance along! I should say BREAK DANCE she will get down on the ground and start Breakdancing it is so funny.

Today we drug Daddy to Portland for our first visit to the Children's Museum. It was very neat! They had a Bob the Builder exhibit that Allyson spent most of her time in. She was very afraid of everything at first, and started to come around just as we decided to head home. That will be on the must do again list this summer! Here are a few snapshots
