Tim Holtz's 12 Days of Tags

Just a quick post here, Ms. Bethie I am sure is the only one checking this out, but here is my attempt to play along with Tim Holtz's 12 days of tags. This is from Day 1.

Supplies: Tag is hand cut, Sizzix Snowflake impression folder, Tim Holtz Noel Die, Tim Holtz Pine cone Die, Pearls are from Tim Holtz, glitter is MS, Holly leaf is a die from PTI. Paper is Bazzil Card stock. Not sure what brand is the embossing powder was. I have to say I love how it turned out. I am not much of a technique gal, but this is staring to open my eyes to some new possibilities!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

This year Allyson and I met up with Grammy at the Hunter's Christmas Tree farm up in Olympia. We went there a few years ago with Johnson Family and had such a great time! This year daddy stayed home and it was a girls trip! We had such a relaxing great time. Allyson had so much fun gathering all the little pumpkins out in the field. The weather was perfect and the fields were not even muddy! Thanks Grammy for meeting us for a fun filled day!

So the scrappin mojo was a flowing a little while back and this is the outcome. I am now sort of slumping, but I have TONS of supplies that I intend on using before that are no longer fashionable, so must find the mojo once again! OK, more posts below, post catch up today!

Weekend Trip to Portland

In February we had an opportunity to stay in downtown portland for a work related function. We stayed at then Benson Hotel and it was fabulous! The FABULOUS Chelsie and Derrick came two nights to watch Allyson for us in the hotel room while Larry and I attended the evening functions together, which the food at the Benson Hotel was to die for!!!! Every meal we eat was amazing!! During the day Larry attended meetings and Allyson and I got to play tourists! What a funny experience to be a tourist in Portland, I acutally lived in Portland just out of high school, so the city is not new to me, but I saw it thru different eyes that weekend.

Well you all know by now that Allyson lost her first tooth, but didn't post any photos. We had a hard time getting just the right shot. Enjoy! and Loves!

Happy Super Bowl Day!

Well after 3 weeks of healthy eating the Super Bowl Eating fest takes on a whole new excitement!!! BRING ON THE FOOD!! First post of the day is my party favors! I thought they turned out super (no pun intended) cute! They are filled with snickers and Kisses!!

Favorite PTI Project!

Well I am a newby to the world of PTI, thanks to my sweet dear SIL Bethie! And I couldn't love a product and website, blog more! The designers are always inspiration for me. I love all that is PTI! So in love with the dies and how the stamps work with their dies!
Well it is their 4 year anniversary, and there is a FUN contest... Nicole asked us to share our favorite project from last year, this really is from this year, because I really didn't have anything until recently. So This valentine cutie is the winner for me so far. I LOVE the Just the ticket dies and coordinating stamp set!! Can't wait to create more with it! Happy 4 year Anniversary PTI!!

Card Crazy!

I have been making cards like crazy here! Got lots of Paptertrey Inc. goodies for christmas (and maybe bought some for myself!) which has inspired me to create like crazy!

Day Trip to Seaside

So we decided to take a daytrip to Seaside yesterday, and what a great day we picked! The sun was shining and it was 56 degrees! There were lots of people out also enjoying the beach and even playing in the surf! Now that is just plain crazy! But anyway, Allyson had a blast!! She has cabin fever already!!! When we got to the beach the first thing she said was "SANDBOX"! That was so stinking cute! She had fun looking for shells and crab shells to stuff in my pockets, and picking up sticks to drawn in the sand. We very much enjoyed the day. The photo of Larry and I was courtesy of Allyson!!! I will get her trained yet!
