My Snowflake Tree!

So here it is! My FAVORITE decoration. This tree takes me so long to decorate! I put so many ornaments on this tree I lose count! I only could fit 800 lights this year. The limbs on the tree are a little weak, so it was a little challenging. I do love how it turned out!

NO WAY!

OK, so I have to say that I am blown away when someone else (other than my loyal family and Sis and Mom In Law) admires my work. Not that there opinion doesn't matter! I have been blog stocking (thanks to Bethie) and one of the sites that I have been introduced to is Mara. She is an AMAZING scrapper/crafter, and she has awarded me with a Blogger Award! You have to check out Mara's blog and get inspired by her beautiful works and her love of our Mother Earth! Thank you Mara and I look forward to see what you come up with next!

Now, here are the rules:
1. The winner may put the logo on their blog.
2. Put a link to the person who sent you the award.
3. Nominate 5 blogs.
4. Provide links to their blog.
5. Leave a message for your nominees.

Here are my nominees, in no particular order!!

1. Bethie , of course! She is the one who got me started in this whole scrapping/blogging world and she continues to be my biggest inspiration and teacher. She does it all! She creates beautiful pages, alter's just about anything you can glue paper to! She is a wonderful cook and an AMAZING Mother to her kids! So this site is a must!

2. Shabby Miss Jenn , my favorite Digital scrapping site! I LOVE her style and have more of her kits than I care to admit to! She it a wonderful designer and inspiration for my digital scrapping world! She also has the cutes Blog packs! and freebies now and then that are definately worth downloading!

3. Pink Paislee Blog , this blog is packed full of wonderful eye candy! The product is beautiful (which I own none of?!) and the ideas are plentyful. This site is a must see!

4. Katie Watson , I love this gals work! I don't know her, but she is the one who inspired me to do the Cookie Sheet Christmas Countdown. She is on Pink Paislee's design team, 7Gypsies, and Maya Road. She does such BEAUTIFUL work. She does it all, so lots of ideas to pick up on this site!

5. Tyneal , my SWEET little sister! She is not a scrapper and claims that I stole all the creativity in the family?! But she is a wonderful Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister-in-Law and Sister there is! She has a little boy (my nephew) named Bryce and he is about the cutes little thing you ever saw! So I love this blog to stay in touch with what is going on in her and her family's world! Keep those posts a coming Sis!

OK, must get ready for work, for some reason I woke up at 4:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep! I have a feeling I will not be going into work this morning, because I think Allyson is coming down with Pink Eye (I think I already have it!!!) thanks to it going around at the Daycare!!!! So we will see! Have a good day!

In search of!

This past Sunday we headed out to get our Christmas Tree. The weather was not nice at all! We headed for the Schrock's Christmas Tree lot on Ocean Beach Hwy. I just love there trees. We got our tree from there last year and loved it. We basically got the first tree we saw last year and ended up with the second tree we saw this year! It is about 81/2 feet tall and just about perfect! I have it all decorated and love how it turned out, except I can not get my fake snow to stay on the branches. Usually I will throw snow that you use for villages on the tree and it will gather on the branches, but this year I didn't have much luck. OK, better run, I think that besides a few tweaks here and there I finally have my house all decorated for the season. It is going to stay up until the New Year, after all that work. We are suppose to get snow this week!! I hope they are right!!! Sounds like a snow party at the Timmons' household!

One down!

I just had to share my SANTA! Tree. So one down one to go! This is the fake tree. We got a tree on Sunday and had to let it dry out! I will be stringing the lights while Allyson is napping so I better get to it! Last year I had over a thousand lights of the Snowflake tree. Only 600 on the Santa tree.

The Big Pink Pirate Party!

ARRRGGG Maties!

I do believe the Pink Pirate Party was a success. Other than the fact that Allyson was on sensory overload! She LOVED her Pirate ship and wanted to spend the whole party in the boat! The kids loved to be inside the boat as well. We had a house full! It was great. Thanks to Tutu and the Johnson crew for setting your sails to the party! We are so blessed and thankful for all our friends and family. After the party wrapped up we headed to dinner with Steve, Beth and the kiddos. MEXICAN! Thanks guys! And Justin I have your jacket in a box ready to ship out to you tomorrow! Now if I could stay out of the leftover party food I would be happy, but who can resist a PIRATE SHIP cake!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

I just LOVE this time of year, don't you! I am frantically trying to get Allyson's party together for this Saturday along with having one heck of a cold. Sore throat, and trying to lose my voice! I actually had to take a nap with Allyson today! I did manage to get a little scrapping in. I made a Cookie Sheet Christmas Countdown. I am not 100% crazy about it, but had a hard time finding things small enough for it. I had Larry sand blast our old cookie sheet, because I could not find anything that was non-stick. So Mara will be happy I recycled!

I am also tring to take at least a photo a day until Christmas, I purchased a kit online from Designers Digital by Ali Edwards called the 25 days of December. I plan on making a little photo book with the photos. I better run, I have to get my little Bug some dinner!
