One Last Post!

OK, this should catch me up for now. I had to post photo's of the pumpkins that I carved. These are the fake pumpkins you can get at Micheal's (craft stores). Let's just say these are a labor of love. It was not easy to carve these babies! I had to super glue a few sections back together. I now understand why you see these get painted more that carved!!!

Last Friday's Fun!

So I am a posting fool today! Making up for lost time. Last Friday I took Allyson bowling for the first time and she of course just loved it! She loved to watch the ball return! She would throw the ball and then run back to the ball return and wait, saying OH NO! the whole time until it spit out the ball!

Happy Halloween!

So seconds after this photo, she dropped the pumpkin and it broke! So I did my best to put it back together!!

What a great face!!

Hope everyone has a fun and safe night Trick or Treating! Our poor little Red Riding Hood woke up sick this morning?! Poor baby threw up and all! She is sleeping as we speak - THAT IS RARE!!! So I know she is down for the count. I am not sure if we will be able to go out tonight or not? We were planning of going up to Tom and Peg's but I don't think we are going to take her up there and risk getting any of the other kids sick. So we will see!

New Layout

Had to post my latest Digi Page that I had to do of my new Favorite photo of Allyson!

Leaf Fun!

Today I had one mission to accomplish (besides put my time in at work) and that was to get the last photo session of the Fall Color at the Lake. It has been so beautiful here lately but the rain is a coming! Yesterday on my lunch I headed to the lake for a workout and was so mad at myself for not having my camera on me, so I made up for it today. I knew exactly where I was going to go, there was this group of trees with a ton of leaves on the ground that would be great for throwing. So as soon as I picked up Allyson we headed for the lake. Well, imagine my DELIGHT when I happened upon a HUGE!!! pile of leaves that had been recently compiled!
Let's just say, I do believe I got the best photos EVER of Allyson. Everyone was going by making comments on how cute she was! She had such a GREAT time. She was diving in and acting like she was swimming. Well, of course, I had to join in on the fun. At one point an older gentlemen came by and asked "who is having more fun here it is hard to tell"! OK, well I have wrote a book!
I have much more to post but will do it another day!
Have fun trick or treating tomorrow.

BOO!

Had to show off my BOO sign that I made this year. I used the MM 5" chipboard letters, which were really nice to work with. the paper is from My Mind's Eye, the photo's tags are something I created from my digi kit from the FABULOUS Shabby Miss Jenn. I printed the spider web onto a transparency from a digi kit on Digital Designer's site. I really like how it turned out! OK, I have about an hour left before I have to pick Ally up from school, so I must get up and scrap! I am in need of some SERIOUS scrap therapy today!

My Handy Manny!

I had to post a photo of the Entertainment Center that my Hubby made for us. We needed something a little more substantial than what we could find in the furniture stores for the MONSTER television that we bought in April. So Larry designed and built this one. It is built into the wall and matches all the wood work in our kitchen and on the fireplace. It has two huge drawers, one for Allyson's diapers, socks and such, and the other stores all her books. The side cabinents house DVDS at the moment, but I have room for more.
Well I'm off the give Allyson a tubby and ready for bed (hopefully) so I can do a little scrapping. She decided that she only needed a 1/2 hour nap today, so needless to say I did not accomplish much today!

Pumpkin Patch

Hello!

Just had to post a layout that I just completed from our Pumpkin Patch visit this weekend. We went with the Johnson Family and had a GREAT time. Allyson LOVED every minute!! What a great Patch. They had a ton of activities for the kids. The weather was a little brisk but no rain and not a ton of people at the time we were there, so it made for a wonderful time. Thanks to Steve, Bethie, Justin and Ms. Amanda for meeting up with us what a special treat! I have a ton of photo's to share but do not know how to load a slide show yet, so once I figure that out I will add a slide show. Have a good week!
I almost forgot to say BIG THANKS to Bethie for taking the Family Photo in this layout - LOVE how it turned out!

Silly Faces!

Just had to share this layout of Allyson and I doing some silly faces for the camera. I was surprised how cute the photos turned out considering I was holding the camera myself. I had to take photos of the pages because they wouldn't scan well.

I added a little hidden journaling to the page. I used a brad to hold the journal note in place and then you just slide it out to read.

The journaling reads:

To my sweet Allyson......

Always remember that who you are is who you should always be. Don't let others decide what that is for you. Be Silly, Be Sweet, Be Loving, Be Independant (maybe a little less stubborn) because that is who you are. Mommy's observations of you at age 3 1/2.

OK, thanks for stopping by!

Fall Fun!

Monday, October 13, 2008

Hello Friends!

Well here we are at Monday once again! We had a fairly mello weekend. On Thursday I took Allyson to the movie IGOR, while Larry had Football Thursday at the house. I thought that the movie was a little to dark for Allyson, or for any younger child. She and I were the only people in the theater!!! That gave the the creeps for some reason. I kept looking over my shoulder the entire movie. Oh to live in my paraniod world?!!!!

OK, so on Saturday I talked Larry into checking out the Ikea in Portland, to get ideas for the scrapbook room shelves he is going to make me for my birthday!!!! SOOO many things I wanted there!!!

Sunday just chilling at home and getting chores done. I have ALL our laundry done (including Larry's, I usually make him do his own!)

So posting a layout that I just did, digitally. The page is very simple but the photo is so BEAUTIFUL! I got SOO many good photos from our last visit to the lake! I want to scrap them all!

I am off to bed now have a good week!

New Page

This photo was taken today when Allyson and I were at the Lake for a walk. I took my camera along, hoping to find good fall color and to catch photo's of Allyson feeding the ducks (there will be more on that later!) This photo was my attempt to get Allyson to throw leaves up in the air and look cute for the camera. Well I loved how I caught the leaves in mid air and have just a peek of her face! The paper and elements are from Sabby Miss Jenn of course!! One of her new kits called "Hoot Hoot". If you get a chance look at what some of the ladies have done with this kit, so amazing, that is why this one will just stay on my blog and not get added to the gallery!

OK, off the bed now!

Halloween Page

This is from last year's Trick or Treating fun. Grandma TuTu made Allyson's costume and it was so ADORABLE!!!! I just love this Digi Kit. I can't tell you where I got it from because I deleted the information page. Can't wait to see what Tutu comes up with this year. I have asked her to make a Little Red Riding Hood costume!

OK, got to run!

Getting Crafty Again!

Just had to share the Caramel Apple Kit I gave to our neighbors today. It was simple but I really loved how it turned out. I bought the bucket from Target. Added a bag of Caramels and apples, attached a recipe card and whala!

OK, off to bed!
